We don't go all out for St. Patrick's Day at our house, but it's hard to pass up chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil! They make a great little surprise gift for the kids on the 17th.
Yum, right? It's childhood memories in a gold bag. Why am I giving them all away? The kids don't realize it, but I fully intend to steal some of their coins.
at my house we build a Leprechaun trap. We never catch him but he leaves Gold wrapped Chocolate coins as a consolation prize (he also leaves a bit of a rhyming note - His name is Hamish). The kids have gotten really impressive in thinking about how to trap him.
